ORP (Oxidation Reduction Potential) is a qualitative test of the redox capacity of a body of water. Since the water body in nature is a mixed system of redox, the ORP electrode reflects a mixed potential. It responds to a description of a relative state, and the ORP value of a body of water near a certain numerical point indicates a state of reduction or oxidation of the body of water, or a certain property of the solution (degree of hygiene, etc.). In addition, the temperature has an effect on the ORP value, but it cannot be corrected, so the ORP electrode generally does not have a temperature compensation function.
