This instrument adopts the turbidity method to determine the concentration of suspended solids, the LED emits a near infrared beam at a certain angle to the sample, the beam will be scattered when it encounters the suspended solids in the sample in the transmission process, and the detector which is set at 90° to the incidence of the wide receives the scattered light, and the concentration of the suspended solids in the sample is directly proportional to the intensity of the scattered light, so that the concentration of the suspended solids in the sample can be calculated through the determination of the intensity of the scattered light.
It is suitable for continuous monitoring of turbidity and suspended solids concentration in aqueous solution in drinking water treatment plants, tap water, swimming pool water, river water and sewage discharged from enterprises.
