Product Description
The device is an on-line analyser that uses the colourimetric method to determine water hardness automatically. A peristaltic pump adds a reagent to the water sample and a colour reaction occurs. The instrument calculates the water hardness concentration by evaluating the intensity of the colour or by determining the value at which the colour changes. The measuring range of the instrument depends on the type of reagent.
It is used for continuous monitoring and control of water hardness concentration in aqueous solutions in drinking water treatment plants, tap water, boiler water, air-conditioning water and corporate process water.
It is recommended that the dosing pump tubes, reagent tubes and O-rings be replaced after 50,000 analyses or every 6 months, and that the measuring chamber be cleaned regularly - at least every 6 months.
